This module provides a foundational understanding of LGBT+ identities, terminology, and the importance of fostering inclusivity in health and social care. It explores the historical context, intersectionality, and challenges faced by LGBT+ individuals, equipping learners with the knowledge to provide person-centred, respectful, and legally compliant care. Participants will also gain insight into overcoming barriers, using inclusive language, and advocating for LGBT+ rights within care settings.
